NYC Outside Sales Manager

Maya Romanoff is seeking a NYC Outside Sales Manager to join our sales team. This position reports to the President and the Director of Sales Operations. The Maya Romanoff NYC Outside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the NYC Tri-State territory sales and maintaining our incredible brand recognition and service excellence.

 

• Manage all sales and leads from current and future NYC Tri-State clients.
• Secure specifications and convert sales from the existing account list and new accounts.
• Develop relationships and repeat customers that maximize value for them and MAYA.
• Develop and maintain account plans for the territory to ensure accounts are identified and developed to their potential.
• Engage with clients by scheduling weekly outside sales calls and presentations, targeting a minimum of 12 per week.
• Document all sales calls and activity using CRM software.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer events as necessary to support sales initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Familiarity with wallcoverings a plus
• Independent and proactive worker, team player
• Basic business math
• Excellent computer skills Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of industry sales cycle and structure
• Minimum 5 years of luxury sales management and sales record
• The ideal candidate should possess proven sales success, coupled with design industry experience.
