Visit Maya Romanoff at BDNY

We’re currently counting down the days until Boutique Design New York, also known as BDNY, or as the hospitality design industry’s leading trade fair. It’s one of our favorite shows all year for a host of reasons, not the least of which include the ability to network with the industry’s creative leaders, the annual Gold Key Awards Gala, and (if we can sneak away from our booth) a chance to take in a bit of the conference portion of the show.
This year, we’re even more excited because in addition to exhibiting, we’ll also be launching a brand new collection--our largest ever--at the show. The line, called Cozy, is a joint effort with designer David Rockwell, and features six brand designs and 34 SKUs.
The wallcovering, which is made from wool to create a felt-like effect, was inspired by David Rockwell’s original collection for us, Blanket Yarn & Stitch, which is widely used in hospitality and retail applications around the world. Cozy uses raised paint to create contemporary, linear patterns on the fabric, instead of the stitching used on the original version. The Cozy collection actually has roots in the hospitality industry, too: it was first designed as a custom product for The Virgin Hotel in Chicago.
To celebrate the launch, David Rockwell and his renowned team took over the design of our booth for BDNY, so if you’ll be at the show, be sure to stop by booth #505 to take in both the new collection and what will surely be one of the most beautiful booths on display. For a Cozy preview Click Here.
Hope to see you there!
