Introducing the Maya Romanoff Fall 2016 Collection
October 18 2016
As a family-owned company dedicated to making indoor spaces as beautiful as can be, it should come as no surprise that fall is one of our favorite seasons around here. It signals the start of months full of holiday get-togethers in homes dressed to the nines, and luxuriating in the warmth of family gatherings in festively decked spaces. It's with that feeling in mind -- being happily enveloped inside a lovely home, that helped shape and inspire our new-for-fall collections.
In addition to adding two brand new designs, we've also refreshed three of our existing patterns with lux new colorways in shades inspired by the richness of the autumn season (yet also appropriate all year round), and we're so excited to share them with you here.
The first of the new collections, Mesa (below), is a crackled-effect covering with a matte finish, inspired by a design from the Maya Romanoff archives. The original pattern, Grecian Crystal, debuted in the 1980s and was a staple for our brand for more than 15 years. Like Grecian Crystal, Mesa taps Japanese crushing techniques in order to achieve its one-of-a-kind pattern.
Bravado, our other new pattern, is a mix of form and function. It combines the incomparable durability of a Type III vinyl with the richness of hand painting in a subtle crosshatch pattern. During manufacturing, the paint pools in an unpredictable, ethereal manner, which ensure each length of the wallcovering is uniquely one-of-a-kind.
Finally, three of our most-loved wallcoverings are now being offered in brand-new hues. Our signature Weathered Walls is now available in a new, contemporary range of shades like moody London Gray (seen below), saturated Bottle Green, and bright and airy Muslin.
The brilliant Weathered Metals is now offered in drama-inducing dark hues, like Gilded Bark, below.
Finally, our True Metals collection comes in celebratory, shimmering tones of Champagne (below) and Tortoise.
